If you cannot manage a walking tour, we have an option that requires no effort at all!

Contact Dawn and she will happily come to you and present a talk to your group, organisation or to your hotel guests that covers much of the information contained in the walking tours. Talks can be tailored to your particular areas of interest, and are all supported with a variety of visual aids so you don’t miss out on the sights of the tours.

The talks last around one hour, with time for questions and discussion throughout and afterwards. There is no upper or lower limit on the number of people attending, although you do have to provide the room and the seats!

The standard charge for a group talk is £75, including Dawn’s preparation time, and travel to and from the venue (in St Ives or within 10 miles from St Ives).

Who are Group Talks for?

We can cater for a wide range of different audiences, for example:

– Schools or colleges, to support their History, Art or English syllabus;

– Hotels who would like to add a daytime or evening event to the schedule for their guests (possibly as part of a Welcome Meeting);

– Organisations such as the Women’s Institute, Rotary Clubs, Church groups or Clubs;

– Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Care Homes or other institutions who wish to provide interesting and stimulating activities for their residents.
