There are a number of websites with lots of useful information about St Ives. The best ones are:

St Ives By The Sea

One St Ives

Visit Cornwall

There are also lots of videos on YouTube that provide interesting views of St Ives and Cornwall. Here are a couple that we particularly like:

Slices of St Ives

This is one of many videos posted by Tony Mason (aka Cornishpastyman1), several of which feature St Ives and other parts of Cornwall.

John Knill Celebration

Tony has also created this video about the John Knill celebration that happens every five years in the town.

Porthmeor Studios

Featuring Naomi Frears and her experience of working at Porthmeor Studios.

Other Tours in and around St Ives

In St Ives you can try one of Shanty Baba’s storytelling walks – the Lantern Ghost Walk, the Pirate Walk and the Comedy Walk. Keep an eye out for his boards with days and times of tours.

I also recommend Rachel’s Wild Walks where you not only explore beautiful Cornish Countryside but learn what food you can pluck and eat from the byways and hedgerows!

You could also try one of the wonderful St Ives Boat Trips – perhaps a visit to Seal island.

And if you want to travel slightly further afield there is Western Discoveries for walking tours and walking holidays, or Elemental Tours who specialise in wildlife watching on land and at sea.
